Our new Radiology for Oncology course will cover the following areas with short lectures and case review. Each user will have access to our online PACS platform with anonymised cases which they can review individually and then learn as we go through them together.
- Imaging Modalities in Oncology and familiarisation with PACS
- Head and Neck: Neuro-anatomy, cervical nodal stations, anatomical landmarks relevant to radiotherapy planning
- Chest and Thoracic: Lung anatomy, mediastinal anatomy, nodal stations, staging in the chest and SVCO.
- Abdomen and Pelvis: Pelvic Anatomy and common Pelvic complications
- MSK: Sarcomas, cord compression, fractures and radiotherapy complications.
- PET in Oncology: How PET is acquired, pearls and pitfalls of PET, Evidence based PET imaging in clinical oncology
